IMAGES THAT TAKE YOU BACK TO THAT MOMENT

ABOUT Paul

I’ve lived on the South Coast in Hampshire all my life. I’ve been married since 2005, and in June 2019 we became proud parents to our amazing little boy, Jonah.
Outside of photography, music is a huge part of my life. Whether I’m chilling out to Bon Iver or head-banging to Pearl Jam, music constantly inspires my creativity. When I’m not watching Hey Duggee with Jonah, you’ll often find me lost in a good film with a brilliant Thomas Newman or Hans Zimmer soundtrack.

I love exploring new places and have always been drawn to beautiful landscapes. Tall trees and Cornish coastlines give me an incredible sense of calm — and Iceland is definitely on the bucket list.

Photographer. Artist. Father. Inspired by music, a well-made flat white, good light, and you!

BEHIND THE LENS

"Family has always been my biggest priority, even more so since becoming a dad. I like to live life slowly and cherish the simple things — especially time spent with the people who matter most."

Your wedding day will be a day of moments. The hilarious, emotional, calm-before-the-storm hours spent getting ready with your closest friends. The first time you see each other at the ceremony — hearts skipping a beat, butterflies in your stomach. Your first kiss. Your first dance.

And then there are the quieter moments too — the hand squeezes under the table, the stolen glances, the secret kisses.

These are the moments you’ll want to relive again and again, because they’re what make your day truly special. And they’re the moments I want to capture for you.

A BLEND OF EDITORIAL POSING AND DOCUMENTARY STYLE — TIMELESS, PERSONAL, EFFORTLESS, AND ENTIRELY YOU.

My APPROACH

We are blown away by these photos, You were the photographer of our dreams!

—  Munzer & ALizée

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was young. I still remember getting my first compact digital camera — way before Instagram, iPhones, and social media were a thing. I was hooked from the start. There’s just something incredible about being able to freeze a moment in time, to capture something people can look back on forever.

I got married in 2005, back when wedding photography looked very different to how it does now. Styles were limited, and “documentary wedding photographer” wasn’t really a thing. Even though we had the best day, all our photos were staged. I still remember our photographer posing us for the cake-cut photo before we’d even done the real thing — no guests, no story, just ticking off a shot list.

So when I photographed my first wedding in 2013, I knew I wanted to do things differently. I made it my mission to capture real, in-the-moment memories that couples could actually feel when they looked back on them.
Before going full-time with photography, I worked as a purchasing manager in the marine industry — a job I genuinely enjoyed and one that taught me a lot. But from the moment I shot that first wedding, I was hooked. I went full-time in 2016, and honestly, I believe I have one of the best jobs in the world.

As an introvert, photography has given me a way to express myself and a confidence I never had before. I’ve met amazing people, made great friends, and had the privilege of being invited into some of the most special moments of their lives. It’s an incredible feeling to know the images I create will be cherished for years to come — and I never take that for granted.
