Wasing Park Wedding | Martyn & Katherine

VENUE: WASING PARK

FLORIST: RUBY & GRACE

HAIR & MAKEUP: CHARLOTTEE ELIZABETH

DRESS: BRIDE TO BE

The year of 2020, a year we all would like to put behind us! Although for some it’s a year they will happily remember for when they got married. Martyn & Katherine’s wedding at Wasing Park was supposed to be in April. Although like many couples sadly had to postpone. They moved their special day to October thinking (like we all hoped) the pandemic would be over & their dream wedding could fully continue as planned. Although instead of postponing again they decided to press on & celebrate with just 15 of their nearest & dearest friends & family. Keeping everything exactly as they planned.

Intimate weddings have such a unique relaxed atmosphere to them. The couple get to fully take in the whole day, without feeling like ‘is it our first dance already?’ For me as a photographer I feel even more privileged to be part of such a special day, when so many of your guests sadly can’t be there. I’m no longer lost amongst 100 or so people & due to the slower pace I’m actually able to get to know your family.

It was Wasing Parks first wedding of this size, but nothing felt missing. All the emotion, love, tears & laughter were still even more so there. You can also see my other wedding at Wasing Park here

Katherine & her Mum did an amazing job with all the floral decorations. Ruby & Grace supplied the stunning bouquets. Her Dad created an awesome cake stand. Everything was just stunning!

All their friends were able to watch the ceremony via Zoom & left very emotional pre-recorded messages, which were played during the speeches. Such a nice touch from the best men!

It was truly a fantastic day & I’m honoured to have been there to capture their days special moments. Many Congratulations to Martyn & Katherine.
